Gossip: Keith Olbermann
The abrasive talk-show host was fired last week by Current TV.
Keith Olbermann is once again out of a job, said HuffingtonPost.com. The abrasive talk-show host was fired last week by Current TV for “serial breach’’ of his 5-year, $50 million contract. Current accused Olbermann in a letter of attacking and insulting his bosses, “sabotaging the network,’’ and failing to show up for his nightly Countdown program 20 times since January. Olbermann has threatened to sue. Olbermann emails leaked to TheDailyBeast.com detail months of bitter complaints by the host, while the network has countered with accusations of diva-like behavior, including alleged complaints about limo drivers who “smelled” or dared to talk to him.
