Show of the week: Missing
Ashley Judd is both an action heroine and a fiercely protective parent in this new series.
Call it La Mom Nikita: Ashley Judd is credible as both an action heroine and a fiercely protective parent in this new series. As it begins, Becca Winstone appears to be a fairly ordinary, albeit fit, suburban wife. But when her college-age son disappears in Rome, she proves there’s more to her than meets the eye as she battles assassins and chases kidnappers across Europe. Though the role is far-fetched, Judd is convincing as a mama grizzly with deadly claws, and the pilot delivers choice locations and feature-film production values. Thursday, March 15, at 8 p.m., ABC
