Reeling and dealing at Wheel of Fortune

Pat Sajak has admitted that in the early days of Wheel of Fortune, he and co-host Vanna White would frequently perform drunk. The game-show host turned conservative commentator, now 65, says that he and White would often spend their two-and-a-half-hour dinner breaks between tapings at a Mexican restaurant in Burbank that served terrific margaritas. “Vanna and I would go across and have two or three or six,’’ Sajak says. Baby boy gets ahold of a snake

A woman in Israel was horrified to discover her infant son calmly chewing the head off a snake. “I was making his milk and looked over and saw he had a snake in his mouth,” said Ghadir Aleeyan, mother of 13-month-old Imad. “I started to scream. I couldn’t believe my eyes.” Her screams drew neighbors, who pulled the foot-long snake out of Imad’s mouth and killed it. Imad only has six teeth, but the reptile’s head was described as “very badly chewed.”
