Gossip: James Franco
A New York University film professor claims he was fired for giving Franco a D.
A New York University film professor is suing the school, claiming he was fired for giving actor James Franco a D, said EOnline.com. José Angel Santana claims the actor, who is enrolled in numerous graduate programs, missed 12 of 14 classes in his “Directing the Actor” seminar. “The university has done everything in its power to curry favor with James Franco,” says Santana. “They’ve turned the NYU graduate film degree into swag for Franco’s purposes.” A spokesperson for the school called Santana’s claim “ridiculous.”
