Maguire has agreed to settle a suit over money he won playing high-stakes illegal poker games.
Tobey Maguire is folding on his gambling lawsuit, said People.com. Maguire, 36, has agreed to settle, to the tune of $80,000, in a suit over money he won playing high-stakes illegal poker games with Brad Ruderman, a convicted Ponzi schemer. The suit, brought by Ruderman’s debtors, had sought to recoup $311,000 from the Spider-Man actor.
