Gossip: Justin Bieber
Bieber will take a DNA test when he returns from Europe to fight a paternity suit filed by Mariah Yeater.
Justin Bieber will take a paternity test, said TMZ.com. The “Baby” singer, 17, is fighting back against a suit filed last week by Mariah Yeater, 20, claiming he fathered her 4-month-old son during a 30-second backstage tryst at Los Angeles’s Staples Center in October 2010. Lawyers for Bieber say he will take a DNA test immediately upon his return from a European trip, and that he plans to sue for defamation. Yeater, who earlier alleged that an ex-boyfriend was the baby’s father, may be in hot water if sex with Bieber actually took place. Sources say authorities would consider charging her with unlawful sex with a minor, since Bieber was 16 at the time of the alleged incident.
