Best websites for restaurant deals
These sites ease the task of deciding where to go out for dinner.
Savored.com knocks 30 percent off your bill at top-notch restaurants across the country whenever you make a reservation through the site and pay a $10 fee. Savored is active in 10 major U.S. cities—including Boston, where the food discount is 40 percent because Massachusetts forbids discounts on booze.
BiteHunter.com makes it easy to search for restaurant deals by cuisine and location in a particular city. It also notes “daily deals from other sites, such as CitySearch and Groupon.” Be aware that there are sometimes errors in the relevant instructions, such as whether you need to print a coupon.
EatDrinkDeals.com “has national and regional chains covered.” Search for deals by restaurant if you have a favorite, or click on tabs highlighting specials for happy hour, kids, lunch, or dinner for two.
