Gossip: Trey Parker, Matt Stone
Did church officials target the South Park creators after they aired an episode that mocked Scientology?
Trey Parker and Matt Stone have some powerful Hollywood enemies, said the New York Daily News. Former Scientology acolyte Marty Rathbun claims he has evidence that church officials targeted the South Park creators after they aired an episode of the animated show mocking the religion. Rathbun alleges that the church conducted public-records searches looking for dirt on Parker and Stone, and may have dug even deeper. “They’ll read stuff into the kind of alcohol you’re drinking and how much. Prescriptions. They’ll figure out your diet. They can find out a lot about you through your trash.”
