Brad Pitt has proved himself a hero, and not just in the movies, said the New York Daily News. While filming a crowd scene in Glasgow, Scotland, last week for the upcoming sci-fi thriller World War Z, the actor broke character to scoop up one of the 700 extras when she fell and was nearly trampled. The woman suffered a badly scraped knee but was otherwise fine. “I don’t think she could believe it when Brad picked her up,” said a source on the set.
