Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries were married last weekend in a lavish $10 million ceremony that they’ve turned into a giant marketing opportunity, said the New York Post. The reality star and the New Jersey Nets forward wed in front of 450 guests, and Kardashian wore three different Vera Wang gowns through the course of the event. Despite the wedding’s astronomical price tag, Kardashian and Humphries scarcely opened their wallets. Most vendors provided their services free in return for publicity; Perrier-Jouët, for example, donated $400,000 worth of champagne. The couple actually stands to net almost $18 million from the wedding by turning it into an all-out media extravaganza, including a to-be-aired four-hour television special.
