Gossip: Russell Crowe

Russell Crowe apologized after he unleashed a series of tweets last week railing against the practice of circumcision. “Circumcision is barbaric and stupid,” the Australian actor, 47, wrote on Twitter. “Who are you to correct nature? Is it real that GOD requires a donation of foreskin?” Crowe later wrote that he was standing up for “the perfection of babies.” He later expressed regret for his comments, when told they could be taken as anti-Semitic. “I love my Jewish friends,” he tweeted. “I love the apples and the honey and the funny little hats but stop cutting yr babies.”
