Prince William and Duchess Catherine returned home this week from a $700,000 honeymoon in the Seychelles islands, said the London Daily Mail. The couple issued a statement saying they had a “memorable and special 10 days,” most of which was spent on a privately owned island in the chain at a cost of more than $70,000 per day. In other royal news, an anonymous bidder paid $132,000 on eBay this week for the infamous pretzel-shaped silk hat that Princess Beatrice wore to the royal wedding in April. Proceeds of the sale will go to children’s charities.
