A Massachusetts teacher refused to display a student’s American flag drawing because it might offend a classmate who is a Jehovah’s Witness.

A Massachusetts teacher refused to display a student’s American flag drawing because it might offend a classmate who is a Jehovah’s Witness. Frankie Girard, 11, drew the flag to honor his brother in the military. His father says the teacher “violated my son’s rights” by telling him to take the drawing home because Jehovah’s Witnesses consider the flag a form of idolatry.
