A Massachusetts teacher refused to display a student’s American flag drawing because it might offend a classmate who is a Jehovah’s Witness. Frankie Girard, 11, drew the flag to honor his brother in the military. His father says the teacher “violated my son’s rights” by telling him to take the drawing home because Jehovah’s Witnesses consider the flag a form of idolatry.

California officials took custody of an 8-year-old girl after her mother admitted on TV that she gave her Botox injections before beauty pageants. Kerry Campbell said she injected the Botox herself, at her daughter’s request, to “lessen the lines” on her face. The girl, Britney, told a TV interviewer, “I just, like, don’t think wrinkles are nice on little girls.”
