Gossip: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver
The couple released a joint statement saying they are “living apart while we work on the future of our relationship.”
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver are separating after 25 years of marriage, said TMZ.com. The couple released a joint statement this week saying they are “living apart while we work on the future of our relationship.” Sources say Schwarzenegger, 63, and Shriver, 55, have spent “very little time together” for several years, and that Shriver has been “miserable” because of the former California governor’s increasingly “unstable” behavior, capped by his recent decision to resurrect his movie career. Shriver, a practicing Catholic, is “extremely conflicted” about divorcing Schwarzenegger, who is trying to woo her back, the source said.
