Nicolas Cage was arrested in New Orleans this week after an alleged drunken rampage, said TMZ.com. Cage, 47, was charged with domestic abuse, public drunkenness, and disturbing the peace after the incident, which happened early Saturday morning in New Orleans’s French Quarter. The actor allegedly grabbed the arm of his wife, Alice Kim, and beat on several parked cars after he tried to lead her into a house he mistook for one they were renting. When officers arrived, he reportedly became belligerent, which led to his arrest. Cage was held for nearly 12 hours before he was released on $11,000 bond.
