Gossip: Charlie Sheen
Sheen was booed during his first “Torpedo of Truth” show, and scalpers, who were getting $500 for the show in other cities, dropped the price to $50.
Interest in Charlie Sheen’s “Torpedo of Truth” tour plummeted after his first two shows—and so did the price of tickets, said Entertainment Weekly. The troubled actor, 45, was roundly booed during his first show, in Detroit, last week, where he came across as arrogant and unprepared. “Is anyone else as confused by this s--- as I am?” said Sheen, as the audience jeered him. For his second show, in Chicago, Sheen retooled the format to include more interaction with the audience, and got a better reception. But scalpers, who were getting up to $500 per ticket for shows in other cities, dropped the price to $50.
