Katy Perry’s mother, an evangelical Christian minister, is publicly admitting that she finds her daughter embarrassing, said the New York Post. In a book being shopped to publishers, Mary Perry Hudson says she’s struggled to come to terms with her daughter’s racy song lyrics, her marriage to former sex addict Russell Brand, and her revealing outfits. “No mother wants to see the top of her daughter’s boobs,” writes Hudson. She says she’d hoped that Perry would utilize her gifts to become a Christian faith healer, as opposed to singing pop songs that “feed the flesh.”
