Gossip: Christina Aguilera
2011 has not been kind to Aguilera.
Christina Aguilera is having an awful 2011, said EOnline.com. On the heels of flubbing the words to “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Super Bowl XLV, the singer, 30, was charged with public intoxication last week when Los Angeles police pulled over a car driven by her boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, 25, and arrested him for DUI. This week, a lawsuit was filed against Aguilera’s label, Sony Music, claiming that her hit single, “Ain’t No Other Man,” stole its beat from the 1968 song “Hippy Skippy Moon Strut,” by Latin soul band Dave Cortez and the Moon People.
