Actor James Franco skipped his own Oscars after-party this week, upset that he bombed as a co-host of the event. Franco and co-host Anne Hathaway drew tepid reviews for their performances, with critics complaining that Franco seemed strangely detached and aloof during the show. “He was really embarrassed and not in the mood to face criticism,” a source close to the actor told EOnline.com. A source told US Weekly that both Hathaway and the show’s producers were furious at him. “She had to provide all the energy—he was just phoning it in,” the source said.
