Barbara Bush, daughter of former President George W. Bush, broke ranks with her father this week by publicly expressing her support for gay marriage. In a video for the advocacy group Human Rights Campaign, Bush, 29, says that “everyone should have the right to marry the person they love.” Her father endorsed a constitutional amendment to outlaw gay marriage in every state. Former First Lady Laura Bush has also said she “disagreed” with her husband on gay marriage.
