Barbara Bush, daughter of former President George W. Bush, broke ranks with her father by publicly expressing her support for gay marriage.

Barbara Bush, daughter of former President George W. Bush, broke ranks with her father this week by publicly expressing her support for gay marriage. In a video for the advocacy group Human Rights Campaign, Bush, 29, says that “everyone should have the right to marry the person they love.” Her father endorsed a constitutional amendment to outlaw gay marriage in every state. Former First Lady Laura Bush has also said she “disagreed” with her husband on gay marriage.
