Raging Bull: 30th Anniversary Edition

The fight sequences in Martin Scorsese’s vivid study of the boxer Jake LaMotta are “some of the finest ever put on film,” said the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Robert De Niro won an Oscar for his turn as LaMotta—“a man who fought as many inner demons as he battled opponents in the ring.”
Funny or Die Presents: Season 1

As most viewers of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s website will attest, Funny or Die’s sketch comedy “varies wildly between brilliant and sophomoric,” said the Cleveland Plain Dealer. The project got its own HBO series last year, and all 12 “boundary-pushing” episodes are now captured here.
