Singer Elton John and partner David Furnish have bought a $3 million Los Angeles apartment for their new baby son, said the London Daily Mail. The couple, who adopted the boy last month, also gave an interior designer an “unlimited budget” to convert the apartment—which is next door to theirs—into a nursery. It’s unclear whether the baby will live with his nanny or whether the two apartments will be joined. “At Elton’s age, I wouldn’t blame him if there’s no adjoining door,” said a source close to the couple.
