Nelson could face up to two years in prison if he is convicted of charges of possessing marijuana.
Singer Willie Nelson was arrested this week for possession of marijuana, said TMZ.com. The arrest occurred when Nelson’s tour bus was pulled over and searched at a U.S. Border Patrol station in his home state of Texas. Officers allegedly found six ounces of the drug on the bus. A longtime proponent of marijuana legalization, Nelson, 77, could face up to two years in prison if convicted.
