Gossip: Lindsay Lohan
A judge ordered Lohan to return to rehab and to stay there until January 2011.
Lindsay Lohan skirted additional jail time this week and was ordered back to rehab, said TMZ.com. Judge Elden Fox ordered the actress, 24, to remain in inpatient treatment for cocaine addiction at the Betty Ford Center until January 2011. Lohan had argued that staying in rehab would be a financial hardship and “damaging to her career,” but Fox was unmoved. “You are an addict, I hope you understand that,” he told Lohan, who nodded in agreement. Sources say Lohan has burned through her available cash and is looking for a sponsor to foot the bill for her additional treatment. “Three months at the facility will cost her almost $50,000, which she doesn’t have,” says a friend.
