Gossip: Lindsay Lohan
Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating the terms of her parole.
A sobbing Lindsay Lohan was sentenced this week to 90 days in jail for violating the terms of her parole. At a hearing in Beverly Hills, Judge Marsha Revel told Lohan she’d shown no respect for the law when she skipped seven alcohol-education classes, which the court mandated after Lohan was arrested for DUI twice. “I’m not taking this as a joke,” a pleading Lohan told the judge. But Revel was unmoved, comparing Lohan’s behavior to “somebody who cheats but doesn’t think they’re cheating until they get caught.” Lohan will begin serving her sentence on July 20, and will then have to spend three additional months in an inpatient substance-abuse program.
