Britney Spears has surpassed actor Ashton Kutcher as the most popular figure on Twitter.
Britney Spears is the new queen of Twitter, said People. This week, the pop star hit 4,955,608 followers, surpassing actor Ashton Kutcher, who had been the most popular figure on the social-networking site. “I’d better get busy writing 4,955,608 thank-you notes,” Spears tweeted to fans. On his own Twitter page, Kutcher had this reaction to falling to second place: “I don’t care.”
