This week, the pop star hit 4,955,608 followers, surpassing actor Ashton Kutcher, who had been the most popular figure on the social-networking site. “I’d better get busy writing 4,955,608 thank-you notes,” Spears tweeted to fans. On his own Twitter page, Kutcher had this reaction to falling to second place: “I don’t care.”
