The husband of actress Brittany Murphy was found dead in his Hollywood home this week, just five months after the starlet’s sudden death in the same home. Simon Monjack, 39, apparently suffered a heart attack, but TMZ.com reported that “a number of empty pill bottles” were found near his bed. His death bears an eerie resemblance to that of Murphy, who died last December of cardiac arrest triggered by pneumonia and a combination of prescription pills. An investigation into Monjack’s death is pending.
