Singer Bret Michaels is expected to make a full recovery after suffering a brain hemorrhage on April 21. “I’m lucky to be alive,” the former Poison frontman, 47, told People after he was released from the hospital this week. Michaels will spend the next few weeks undergoing physical therapy, but says he hopes to begin touring on May 26. “It just wasn’t my time yet,” says the singer. “I really believe that.”
