Gossip: Elizabeth Edwards
Elizabeth Edwards intended to integrate the child John Edwards fathered out of wedlock into the family, but seeing the toddler pushed her over the edge.
Elizabeth Edwards’ split from husband John Edwards, after 32 years of marriage, was sealed after she met the child he fathered out of wedlock with mistress Rielle Hunter. Elizabeth’s sister, Nancy Anania, tells People that Elizabeth first met 23-month-old Frances Quinn Hunter just before Christmas. Though Elizabeth intended to integrate the toddler into the family, seeing her pushed her over the edge. “She said, ‘I’ve had it. I can’t do this. I want my life back.’” Hunter, meanwhile, went to court this week to demand the return of a sex tape she’d apparently made with Edwards.
