The mother of Brittany Murphy says the actress was not on drugs when she died, and that her death was related to a heart murmur she’d been diagnosed with in her teens. Sharon Murphy tells People.com that Brittany “never even drank” and denied rumors she was suffering from depression or anorexia. The actress died suddenly after collapsing in the shower last month at age 32. The official cause of death is still pending.
