ESPN this week fired baseball analyst Steve Phillips, after he admitted he had an extramarital affair with a production assistant. Phillips, 46, a former general manager for the New York Mets, admitted to the relationship with 22-year-old Brooke Hundley after a report surfaced detailing how Hundley had sent harassing messages to his wife noting, among other things, the location of Phillips’ birthmarks. A spokesman for Phillips told the New York Post that Phillips plans to check into rehab to “address his personal issues.”
