In “Chasing the Dream,” O’Brien’s subjects include Florida Sen. Mel Martinez; a Puerto Rican police officer whose limited English may delay his dream to become a sheriff in Orlando; and an illegal immigrant from Mexico killed by white high school students in Shenandoah, Pa.
