Outspoken rapper Kanye West apologized this week for jumping onto the stage during singer Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards and proclaiming that Beyoncé deserved the award for Best Female Video. West called Swift with his apology, and said
on Jay Leno’s new show that he’d been “rude, period.’’ West said he would take time off to analyze his actions, so he
could “improve.”
