Candy Spelling has informed her estranged daughter, Tori, that she would not attend her granddaughter’s first birthday party because it was being set up for Tori’s reality TV show. “I decided my first meeting with my granddaughter should be on home video, not prime-time cable,” she said. “Life isn’t just a show. And your families can’t just be props.” Candy Spelling made her remarks in an open letter to TMZ.com addressed to “Middle-aged reality show stars (like my daughter).”
