Gossip: Jenna Bush
A new book claims that Jenna Bush used to try to ditch Secret Service protection by jumping into her car without warning and racing through red lights.
Former First Daughter Jenna Bush used to try to ditch her Secret Service protection by jumping into her car without warning and racing through red lights, according to a new book. “As a result, in a total waste of manpower, the Secret Service kept her car under surveillance so agents could follow her,” says author Ronald Kessler. He also says that Bush’s boyfriend, Henry Hager (whom she has since married), once got so drunk at a party that agents had to take him to a hospital. Laura Bush’s press secretary called the reports “nonsense.”
