Members of Michael Jackson’s family say they suspect “foul play” in the singer’s death. “I believe Michael was murdered,” said his sister La Toya, echoing a statement by their father, Joe. La Toya said “greedy people” got her brother “hooked on drugs.” Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton said investigators were looking into reports that Jackson was taking the powerful anesthetic Diprivan and awaiting the results of toxicology tests to determine the cause of death. Jackson’s family, meanwhile, would not say where he had been buried, amid reports that family members are clashing over brother Jermaine’s push to set up a memorial tomb at Michael’s Neverland ranch, where tourists would be charged a fee to pay homage.
