Gossip: Katherine Heigl
Katherine Heigl's frank assessment of her role on this season's Grey's Anatomy.
In an apparent slap at the producers of the hit show Grey’s Anatomy, actress Katherine Heigl last week withdrew her name from Emmy consideration, saying her role wasn’t award-worthy. “I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination,” said Heigl, who has been involved in contract disputes with the series ever since her breakout feature film, Knocked Up. Insiders speculate that Heigl is trying to get out of her contract altogether.
