Four in 10 Americans say they are having trouble paying for prescription drugs. Of those experiencing trouble, 16% say paying for drugs is a “serious” problem, 29% haven’t filled a prescription in the past two years due to the cost, and 23% have skipped doses or cut pills in half to make their medication last longer.
