Jennifer Lopez gave birth to fraternal twins—a boy and a girl—last week. Lopez and her husband, Marc Anthony, are “very peaceful and happy and blissful,” their friend Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas told People. “She is so excited about these babies.” People reportedly has offered $6 million for the first photos of the twins.

Writer and former stripper Diablo Cody, who won an Oscar for her Juno screenplay this week, was furious when she saw a pre-show gossip item about the jeweled shoes her stylist helped her pick for the award ceremony. “NEWS TO ME, kids,” said Cody on her blog. “I must have somehow missed the part where my shoes cost a MILLION F--KING DOLLARS and my ‘choice’ of footwear would be publicized nationwide.” Cody said she was “flattered that they picked me (surprise!) to wear the Pimp Shooz, but WTF, right?” Cody ended up wearing a simple pair of flats for her red-carpet debut.
