Massacre at home.
The week's news at a glance.
Delavan, Wis.
A jealous boyfriend went on a murderous rampage in a rural Wisconsin home last week, killing five people, including his girlfriend and the couple’s infant twin sons, before taking his own life, police said. The alleged shooter’s 2-year-old daughter survived with gunshot wounds to her chest, and was recovering. Police identified the gunman as Ambrocio Analco, 22, and said he had had an “on-again, off-again” relationship with 19-year-old Nicole McAffee, one of the victims. Also killed were McAffee’s sister and a friend. One relative said Analco may have acted out of rage after finding a letter to Nicole from an ex-boyfriend in prison. “It is beyond comprehension,” said Don Brick, a longtime local resident, “that anything like this can happen in a community like this.”
