Deadly liposuction

The week's news at a glance.

Abuja, Nigeria

Stella Obasanjo, the wife of Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo, died this week of complications after plastic surgery. Obasanjo, 59, was recovering from liposuction at a clinic in Spain when she slipped into a coma and died. Nigerian commentators immediately raised questions of foul play.
