The week's news at a glance.
Sydney, Australia
Australian police are investigating whether the cell-phone company Vodafone broke the law when it encouraged two men to streak nude at a rugby game. The men, who ran around the field with nothing on but the painted word “Vodafone,” were fined for “willful and obscene exposure.” The head of Vodafone Australia, Grahame Maher, has admitted that he promised the two men he would pay their fines, and now he might face a charge of inciting criminal behavior.
