Manchester has been painted blue following City’s 2-0 victory over United in the derby on Wednesday night.

“Blue beauties!” says the Manchester Evening News in its coverage of the derby while the Daily Mirror has similar theme with the pun “Bluetiful”.

The Daily Express says that City are “simple unstoppable” as they secured their 11th successive league victory.

After goals from Bernardo Silva and Leroy Sane sealed the win The Times believes that City have “one hand on the trophy”. While the Daily Mail and Metro say that City are heading for “Silvaware” with the domestic trophy treble still on.

Although City are the red-hot favourites to defend their crown the Independent quotes captain Vincent Kompany who warns that “Liverpool won’t slip up”. Kompany says there is still a lot to play for and that the Sky Blues have to win their three remaining games if they are to become champions.
