1. Ashley Olsen secretly got married
Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband? You got it, dude. Ashley Olsen of the Olsen twins married her longtime boyfriend, artist Louis Eisner, in a secret, low-key ceremony last week, Page Six reports. She and Eisner have been dating since 2017, though they've kept their relationship quite private, and Olsen has never once talked about it publicly. The couple waited until 2021 to make their red carpet debut, and we didn't even know they were engaged. There were rumors when she was spotted wearing a gold band on vacation over the summer, though — and she has also sparked engagement speculation as far back as 2019. According to Page Six, the wedding was held at a private Bel-Air home with "only a few dozen guests" in attendance, so it sounds like it wasn't exactly a full house.
2. Prince Harry describes losing virginity to 'older woman' in a 'grassy field behind a busy pub'
At no point during the writing of his new book did Prince Harry utter the phrase "that might be too much information," at least based on the excerpts we're seeing so far. The biggest takeaway is that Harry in his upcoming memoir Spare alleges Prince William physically attacked him during a confrontation, claiming his brother "grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor," The Guardian reports. But according to Us Weekly, Harry also feels the need to share how he lost his virginity in an "inglorious episode with an older woman" who "liked horses" and treated him like "a young stallion." He recalls it was a "quick ride, after which she'd smacked my rump and sent me to grace," adding that it "happened in a grassy field behind a busy pub." We know it's supposed to be a tell-all memoir, but maybe he should have told a little less.

3. Drew Barrymore and Kate Hudson accidentally cold call the wrong Luke Wilson
Drew Barrymore just had her most disastrous phone call since the opening scene of Scream. The actress chatted with Kate Hudson on her talk show about the fact that they've both dated Wilsons, as Barrymore's ex is Luke Wilson, while Hudson dated his brother, Owen Wilson. They each noted they haven't talked to the Wilsons in a while, so Barrymore decided to call Luke Wilson, right there on the air, for the first time in 20 years. But she may not have looked at her contact list carefully enough, as she reached a totally different guy named Luke Wilson — technically, Lucas Wilson, who worked with Barrymore on Never Been Kissed. "You looking for the actor?" he said. "That's not me." Barrymore seemed pretty embarrassed, telling Wilson she's "so sorry" she "pranked called you" and promising to call him back off-air to "explain what the hell I'm doing." But she let him off the hook before quizzing him on his favorite scary movie.
4. Ryan Seacrest and Andy Cohen insist they're not in a feud
2023 is off to a rip-roaring start in the celebrity news world, as we are now in our third straight day of talking about whether two adults said hi to each other. Ryan Seacrest claimed this week that Andy Cohen failed to turn around and greet him while they were both hosting competing New Year's Eve shows — even though his co-host Anderson Cooper did — leading Cohen to insist he never saw the American Idol host. Well, that apparently wasn't enough to put this to rest, so Cohen appeared on Seacrest's radio show Thursday so they could bury the hatchet once and for all. "I don't like fighting with people," Cohen said. "Well, we're not," Seacrest said, insisting they've "been friends for years" and that while "some people think you and I have this thing going on," that "just isn't true." Cohen also wished Seacrest a slightly belated happy new year. Oh good, now we can finally get some sleep.

5. 'M3GAN' earns a nearly perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes
A new horror icon is here, and Chucky is in shambles. Ahead of its Friday debut, the killer doll movie M3GAN is rocking a nearly perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes: 97 percent with 63 reviews as of this writing. That's seven points higher than Gone with the Wind, so eat your heart out, Clark Gable. The film already went viral in the fall after a gloriously ridiculous trailer that showed the creepy killer doll busting out a fabulous dance routine before violently murdering people, and critics say it delivers all the camp you'd want from the marketing. It's a "movie that pays off viral hype with the production goods," wrote IGN's Matt Donato, while Mashable's Kristy Puchko declared that the "next queer monster has arrived, and she's got better rhythm than the Babadook." As we speak, Annabelle is trying to earn back some internet cred by learning the Wednesday dance number.
