1. Tom Cruise's very expensive luggage was stolen

Their mission was to make off with Tom Cruise's luggage, and they chose to accept it. Cruise is apparently fuming after his bodyguard's BMW, which had "thousands of pounds" worth of the actor's luggage in it, was allegedly stolen, The Sun reported. The car has reportedly since been recovered, but Cruise's belongings weren't. "It's a huge embarrassment for the security team and the guy who had been driving it was hopping mad," a source told The Sun, "but not as mad as Tom!" This went down while Cruise was filming the latest Mission: Impossible film, on which he previously blew up over COVID-19 protocols being violated. But just a warning to the car thieves: you've never seen him very upset.

2. Jojo Siwa to make Dancing with the Stars history with same-sex dance partner

YouTube star Jojo Siwa is headed to the ballroom. The 18-year-old will make history in September as part of the first same-sex pairing on Dancing with the Stars. Siwa announced in January she is part of the LGBTQ community, and after seeing how that inspired others, she wanted to do more. "I thought that if I chose to dance with a girl on this show, it would break the stereotypical thing. It would be new, different and change for the better," she said. She's excited to explore the possibilities within the pairing: Who leads? What do they wear? "There are so many crossroads. Which route do we want to go? It's going to be so fun." As a former Dance Moms cast member, she'll likely have a real shot at the mirrorball trophy.

3. Kristen Bell was only kidding with her hygiene comments

It's just a prank, bro! Kristen Bell says the now-infamous bathing comments made on her husband Dax Shepard's podcast, which launched the bizarre celebrity hygiene debate, were just jokes. Shepard, Mila Kunis, and Ashton Kutcher chatted about not washing themselves with soap daily and only bathing their children if there's visible dirt on them. But they "were joking about bathing, and then the world took it seriously," Bell declared. They didn't sound like they were completely kidding, but hey, we'll take her word for it. The actress also recalled thinking that surely "America is not gonna dig deep into this and want all the intel on how often people bathe, right? Because there are much more important topics?" Wrong!

4. Camila Cabello learns the hard way which finger an engagement ring goes on

Camila Cabello innocently posted a TikTok dancing to her song "Don't Go Yet" with the caption "just showin u my daily work out routine." But fans weren't focused on the routine. "IS THAT A RING?" one commented, referring to the shiny object on the singer's left ring finger. Cabello shut down the engagement rumors on The Tonight Show. "I swear to god, I don't know what hand the engagement ring goes on," she said. She doesn't know because her parents, who are married, both lost their rings. "I mean, I'd actually like you to enlighten me — which hand is the engagement hand?" Jimmy Fallon heroically informed her it is the left hand. So next time she wears a ring on that finger, maybe she and Shawn Mendes will actually have some news to share, rather than a workout routine.

5. Kanye's listening party had a very questionable guest list

For Kanye West's latest listening party, he wasn't satisfied to bring in just one controversial guest. The rapper held yet another listening party for his album Donda in Chicago on Thursday, and he was joined by both Marilyn Manson (who has been accused of sexual abuse) and DaBaby (who has been embroiled in scandal due to homophobic comments). It was seemingly "some sort of s----y commentary on 'cancel culture,'" as Consequence wrote. The listening party also saw Kim Kardashian make an appearance wearing a wedding dress, though according to TMZ, no, that doesn't mean they're back together. In case it doesn't go without saying, by the way, the album still isn't out.
