1. Bill Murray is reportedly dating Kelis

Her milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, and we truly mean all of them. In the most bafflingly random pairing in recent celebrity gossip history, Bill Murray, 72, is dating Kelis, 43, The Sun reports. The two have apparently been "getting close for a while" and bonding after the "Milkshake" singer lost her husband in 2022 and the actor's estranged wife died the year prior. Murray has recently been spotted at some of her shows, and they were reportedly both seen at the same hotel. "They've also both shared relatively recent bereavements and have that common bond between them," a source told The Sun. "Whatever it is that has brought them together, and however unlikely it seems, they are both single and are having fun despite the fairly big age gap." Dogs and cats living together … mass hysteria!

2. Shawn Mendes promotes new song with photo of NYC smoke

Where there's smoke, there's a new song by Shawn Mendes. The singer has dropped a single titled "What the Hell Are We Dying For?", the cover photo of which is a picture of New York City engulfed in smoke from Canadian wildfires. In fact, Mendes said he started writing it "yesterday morning with my friends in upstate New York" and finished it "only a few hours" before it was released. Though the meat of the song is seemingly about a relationship and possibly Camila Cabello specifically, he alludes to the situation in New York very subtly by singing, "Smoke in the air / The city's burning down." Mendes said he's donating to the Canadian Red Cross, but he faced criticism for tying his song to an ongoing crisis, with one fan commenting on Instagram, "i mean i luv u shawn, but u prolly should've left recent tragic events out of a song about camila." The man's getting smoked.

3. Shakira is reportedly dating Lewis Hamilton

Shakira is shifting gears in her love life. The "Hips Don't Lie" singer is in the "early stages" of dating race car driver Lewis Hamilton, People reports. "They're spending time together and in the 'getting to know you' stage," a source told the outlet. "It's fun and flirty." Shakira was recently at the F1 Spanish Grand Prix, where Hamilton competed, and they were then seen out with some friends. She reportedly hung out with him after attending the Miami Grand Prix, as well. The singer was also spotted at the Miami Grand Prix with Tom Cruise, leading Page Six to report that the "Mission: Impossible" star was "extremely interested in pursuing her." A source told Us Weekly, though, that she has "no interest in dating him" and "isn't focused on dating him or anybody else at the moment." But Hamilton, for one, wasn't throwing away his shot.

4. Jennifer Lawrence clarifies why she wore flip-flops at Cannes

Jennifer Lawrence is putting her foot down and setting the record straight about her Cannes look. The actress told Entertainment Tonight she wants to "straighten this out" when asked about recently wearing flip-flops at the Cannes Film Festival, noting she received tons of praise for supposedly making a statement. "I was not making a political statement, not that I wouldn't," she stressed. Lawrence was dressed in a red gown when attending a film screening at the festival, but she was also spotted wearing black flip-flops on the red carpet. She told ET she "had no idea" that there "was a whole controversy" with women reportedly not being allowed to wear flats at Cannes. Instead, Lawrence said this was simply because her "shoes were a size too big." Though she "wore heels going up," she switched to flip-flops because she was worried she would "eat s--t" when she had to walk down the stairs. Never again.

5. Amy Schumer dropped out of 'Barbie' because it wasn't 'feminist and cool'

Life in plastic didn't seem so fantastic to Amy Schumer. On "Watch What Happens Live," the comedian spoke further about why she dropped out of the "Barbie" movie. She was signed on for the lead role before Margot Robbie was cast, though this was for an earlier version of the film before Greta Gerwig was tapped to write and direct. "I think we said it was scheduling conflicts," Schumer said, but in reality, it was "creative differences." Schumer still plans to see the film, though. "There's a new team behind it, and it looks like it's very feminist and cool, so I will be seeing that movie," she said. When Andy Cohen asked if she's implying the problem was that the previous version of the movie wasn't feminist and cool, she confirmed, "Yeah." Based on the cast list, Schumer now appears to be the only living celebrity who won't be a part of the "Barbie" world.
