Liverpool transfer news: Real Madrid star Dani Ceballos wants Anfield move
Spain Under-21 international is frustrated by his lack of game time at the Bernabeu
Miffed Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has “reiterated his desire to join Liverpool” in the summer, according to talkSPORT.
The broadcaster, taking its information from Spanish rag Marca, says that the Spain Under-21 international has his eyes on a move to Anfield at the end of the season “having been frozen out at the Bernabeu” with just two league starts to his name.
It seems that Real boss Zinedine Zidane doesn’t rate Ceballos and so is ready to sell the playmaker in June. He won’t come cheap, says talkSPORT, quoting a figure of £32m, but Real president Florentino Perez is ready to listen to offers for the 21-year-old.

Said to be “hugely frustrated by his lack of game time”, the youngster has been scouted by some of Europe’s top clubs in recent months but he’s a fan of what Jurgen Klopp is doing at Liverpool and believes his interests would be best served by a move to Merseyside.
It’s claimed that the Reds made an approach for Ceballos last month but were knocked back, but now Real have found a replacement for him in Frankfurt midfielder Omar Mascarell and will therefore do business with Liverpool.
Perhaps the Ceballos connection is why the Liverpool Echo claims that, contrary to rumours over the weekend suggesting the Reds were chasing Bournemouth’s Lewis Cook, that is not in fact the case.
It had been said that Klopp was ready to hand over £20m for Cook, who was included in the England squad for the friendly against Brazil during the autumn, but the Echo understands that Liverpool “have no interest in signing” the 21-year-old.
