Police in Pennsylvania are on the lookout for two women who attempted to rob a bank while dressed as nuns. Security footage shows the women – one of whom was carrying a gun – demanding money from a bank teller. The pair fled the scene empty-handed when police were alerted.
Man plays saxophone as surgeons remove brain tumour
A 27-year-old musician has given an unusual performance after surgeons asked him to play his saxophone during an operation to remove a brain tumour. "It was strange because I was lying on my side, and that's not how you usually play the instrument," Dan Fabbio said. "And, also, my skull was open."

Gambler throwing money sparks Las Vegas fight
An unknown man has sparked a brawl on the Las Vegas Strip after emerging from a casino around 4am and throwing a stack of $100 notes into the air. It is unclear how much money was thrown, but local police say that up to 1,000 people were involved in a fight over the cash before the situation was brought under control.
