An Uber driver has claimed that the company’s driver app is responsible for directing him to drive down a flight of stairs while trying to exit a San Francisco car park. The vehicle, which was carrying two passengers at the time, had to be towed from the stairs. Uber has launched an investigation into the incident.
Woman climbs under police car to stop husband’s arrest
A Chinese woman has reportedly crawled underneath a police car in a bid to stop her husband being arrested for a minor traffic offence. Witnesses say the woman slid under the car up to her waist, and lay there for nearly two hours, pretending to have seizures. She was eventually taken to hospital for a check-up, and her husband was detained.

Florida woman gives birth to brother’s baby
A Florida woman has been arrested after giving birth to her brother’s baby. The child was born with significant medical problems, prompting doctors to perform genetic testing, which showed the father was a “close blood relative”. The woman was arrested at a McDonald’s after admitting she had been in an intimate relationship with her brother for five years.
