Police in Canada have reminded residents of the proper use of the 911 emergency phone number, after it was revealed that a nine-year-old girl called the emergency services to dob in her parents after she was told to tidy her room. Police attended the scene and issued a warning to the child, and her mother and father.
Chocolate spill closes German road
An industrial accident in Germany has forced the closure of a local road, after “a ton of chocolate” was spilled from a truck in the western town of Westonnen. The liquid chocolate reportedly solidified rapidly, with fire fighters forced to use shovels, hot water and blowtorches to clear the street before it could be re-opened.

Rap video leads to 20 arrests
Police in Houston have arrested 20 people on charges of illegal weapon possession, after the group was featured showing off their gun collection in a music video shot by local rappers Maxo Kream and NFL Cartel Bo. Police say several drug charges have also been laid against the group.
